Clock and Day

Your tools. Your privacy choices.

How Clock and Day handles tool inputs, Google Analytics, and your privacy choices.

Tool inputs

The time and calendar tools calculate in your browser. Our tool code does not send the dates, event names, selected zones, lap times, or timer settings you enter to an application server. Tool state is held in the open tab and is cleared on reload. There are no accounts or advertising scripts in this version.

Google Analytics

Clock and Day uses Google Analytics to understand page visits and improve the website. When enabled, Google Analytics receives browsing and device information and may set analytics cookies. We disable Google Signals and advertising personalization in the tag configuration. See Google’s explanation of data from partner websites.

Your analytics choice

In the EEA and UK, Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose Accept. We use the hosting provider’s same-origin country lookup to select this behavior; if the country cannot be determined, we also wait for your choice. Outside those regions, analytics may load automatically unless you have previously rejected it.

Use Privacy choices, available on every page, to accept or reject analytics at any time. Your preference is stored in your browser’s local storage under clockandday.analytics-consent. Rejection disables measurement on the current page and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site. It does not delete information already sent to Google. If browser storage is unavailable, your choice applies only to the current page.

Website delivery and external links

Loading the website sends normal network information, such as your IP address and requested page, to the hosting provider. The tools do not request precise geolocation; the default time zone comes from your browser settings. Source links lead to other websites with their own data practices. Printing uses your browser’s print dialog.
